Mrs. Bjork's students enjoy a taste of Hawaii
McKinley Airlines took off almost as soon as we arrived at school. We enjoyed fruit snacks on our flight. We sliced open a pineapple and tasted it's sweetness. We had 12 stations we rotated to from different kinds of fish counting, fishing for letter and fishing for numbers, "sea diving" for sea animals, sorting sea animals, making a sea star, flower lei, magic paint, matching upper and lowercase letters on fish, beginning sound matching fish to patterning with beach cut outs, until it was time to go to recess. We also did an experiment with vinegar and baking soda to see how a volcano erupts. We rested on the beach and listened to Hawaiian music. It was a busy, fun day!
